You are very welcome to come to the bakery Wednesday to Saturday from 10:00 – 2:00pm. See Nick make your bread and talk to him about the traditions and innovations of bread making.
Look around and choose some bread and cakes to take home...

Make a day of it!
If you are out for the day there is plenty to do in the area from beautiful walks along the many miles of local footpaths running right through the farm or perhaps cycle along Route 1 of the National Cycle path and explore the area.
The River Stort
Wander down the paths by The River Stort, investigate the locks and see some of the narrow boats which are moored locally.
The Gibberd Garden
Sir Frederick Gibberd, the masterplanner of Harlow new town last century, lived half-a-mile up the lane opposite the Farm. He created a seven-acre garden filled with sculptures, which has been called ‘one of the few outstanding examples of 20th Century garden design’. It is now open to the public at weekends and on Wednesdays from 2 - 6 pm, April to September.
Visitors appreciate the tranquillity of the garden while finding interesting sculptures at almost every turn. There is a gazebo and a children’s castle with moat and drawbridge, a Barn tearoom selling mouth watering cakes and refreshments, a shop, free car-parking and toilets, all for an admission of £4.00 full, £2.50 concession and £1.00 children 6-16 (under 6 free). The Queens Head
Afterwards take the weight off your feet at The Queens Head, a super local pub which serves great food and beer.
