Our Charitable Beliefs
At Mayfield Farm Bakery we believe everyone should do what they can to support others.
This can be a challenge, especially as most of our time is devoted to baking artisan bread and cakes. However, what if we could help by supplying discounted bread and cakes for others to sell, consume and raise funds for good causes?
Whether you are holding a charity coffee morning or fund raising for your local school, if your event could benefit please let us know.
Wherever possible we will support most good causes, especially those concerning children, young adults, older people and the environment.
Our Green Policy
We also believe everyone should do what they can to reduce their impact on the environment.
To this end we try to source the best ingredients as locally as possible, keeping food miles to a minimum and our carbon emissions as low as we can.
We use biodegradable packaging wherever possible and keep plastics to a minimum, reducing our impact on land fill.
Animal Charities
When we have bread food waste we would rather give it to animal charities for feed than see it go to landfill.
If you are an animal sanctuary and could make use of any food waste then please contact us so we can arrange collection.
